Well folks, I just couldn't figure out how to get everything on the main page. Hit their limit I suppose. Thus, this supplement page. I didn't want to just forget the rest. Too important. So, here goes.

Tasty Tidbits and Things You May Not Know

A few days ago we received this week's bundle of grocery ads and more. Sometimes the bundle contains coupons from fast food restaurants, and this week it included coupons from Jack In The Box. The headline on the coupon sheet is "BREAKFAST TIME. ANYTIME." They are featuring breakfast burritos and their entire line of "brunchfast entrees" with most of the entrees containing eggs. Eggs are big business at Jack In The Box, and they are available anytime the store/drive thru are open. Do you have a Jack In The Box near you? Pretty good eating if you are in a hurry.

A few weeks ago our newspaper reported "McDonald's can't halt its sales slide." The article outlined plans for reversing this trend. It also reported, "By the end of this year, the company expects 93 percent of its restaurants to be franchised." Wow! I would not have guessed it was that many. Good or bad?

Ever hear of Tesla? You, no doubt, know that they are making electric cars. You may even know that they are building a humongous battery factory near Las Vegas. But do you know that they are entering the U.S. new house construction market with a very special new product that nobody else is offering at this time? aris it? A new type of solar roof. No, it's not a new and improved version of a solar panel. Well, not the way we usually think of panels. It's an entire solar roof made up of thousands of "solar tiles." The roof will be guaranteed for the life of the house. Wow!
Final Thoughts

You may have heard that Stephen Furst died at age 63 from complications of diabetes. Like many others, Stephen's fame got it's start in the movie, Animal House.

Age 63 is too young to die folks! How long? How much longer are we going to allow "the complex" to put on their "concern" and "we are sorry we couldn't do more" act while they are knowing there is just too much money to be made by keeping the current system in place and putting on a big face to make it look like they are "working on the problem?"

I do not have diabetes, but I am sick. Sick and tired of hearing about the failures of the current system as it relates to obesity and diabetes. Please join me in this fight to change the system. Thank you!
